Key Responsibilities:

- Assist surveillance focal points in carrying out active case searches for VPDs at priority facilities.
- Setting up meetings and managing the logistics of the project
- Arrange for community health workers to attend orientation sessions on surveillance, epidemic preparedness, and response.
- Evaluate the status of the project, resolve problems, and create thorough reports for the stakeholders.
- Organize meetings to raise awareness of VPD surveillance among prominent leaders and community gatekeepers.
- Collaborate with the national Afya health hotline (call center) to create a handbook or guide for hotline staff and arrange for Afya call center operators to get training on disease response and surveillance.
- To ensure accurate and timely reporting, assist with data collection, reporting, and analysis.
- Oversee the allocation of purchased materials and tools for project-related tasks.
- To assist with project execution, make routine field trips to medical facilities and community locations.
- Make and update work plans and reports to keep track of project documentation.
- To track the advancement of priority indicators and create mitigation strategies, schedule quarterly regional data review meetings with the Immunization Vaccine Development program team, R/CHMT, and HCWs.
- Create and document the activities involved in disaster response and preparedness.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- A medical (MD) bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required.
