The Ministry of financing and Planning oversees Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank Limited (TADB), a government development financing organization. The Companies Act of 2002 governs TADB’s registration, and the Banking and Financial Institutions Act No. 5 of 2006 and the Banking and Financial Institutions (Development Finance) Regulations of 2012 govern its licensing. - Assisting Tanzania in achieving sustained food security and self-sufficiency.

In order to serve the Legal Services Unit, TADB is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of intern.
- Help with contract and other legal document drafting
- Use legal databases and other resources to assist with legal research on specified topics.
- Help with examining and editing loan documents, contracts, and other legal agreements.
- Make fact-based inquiries and write reports.
- Under supervision, draft legal correspondence, including letters and memos.
- Assist in getting ready for different meetings;
- Aid in the examination of statutory registers to ascertain the legal standing of securities, loan applications, and borrowing capacity;
- Help with pre-disbursement conditions, statutory registrations, loan document monitoring, and registration;
- Help keep legal files and records organized and maintained.

- Perform any additional tasks as occasionally delegated by superiors.
