To run the Centre profitably, managing sales process by acquiring new business and deepening existing customer relationships and maintaining operational efficiency while providing the appropriate service standards.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Growth of the MSME Loan Portfolio: To increase the MSME loan portfolio, find and discuss business prospects in the Kariakoo market. In accordance with credit policies, this entails examining, evaluating, and suggesting MSME credit applications.
  • Loan Portfolio Management: Make sure that the quantity and quality of loans in the portfolio are growing in accordance with predetermined standards.
  • Deposits and NFI Growth: Assure efficient use of bank goods and services (e.g., trade finance, forex, bank guarantees, Lipa Namba, etc.) by monitoring the growth of deposits, new account openings, insurance, and other non-interest income.
  • Relationship Management Function: To guarantee client loyalty and sustained company growth, proactively manage and strengthen business connections with both current and potential clients.
  • Financial Performance: Ensure that profit targets are met by maintaining financial performance in accordance with corporate objectives.
  • Expense management: Make sure all expenditures are approved and keep center spending within the allocated budget.
  • MIS and Reporting: Make sure that MIS reports are in line with performance objectives by reviewing and acting upon them on a regular basis.
  • Customer Satisfaction and Experience: Make sure the center provides services that live up to customer expectations by concentrating on enhancing customer satisfaction, controlling turnaround time, and encouraging teamwork through CRDB values.
  • Relationship and Customer Query Management: Ensure that service levels fulfill the agreed-upon TAT by monitoring and swiftly addressing customer requests, queries, and complaints to establish and preserve great customer relationships.
  • Employee Development and Performance: In accordance with HR regulations, oversee employee performance, development, and relationships, including coaching, succession planning, and mentoring.
  • Relations with External Stakeholders: In cooperation with zone management, represent the Center and uphold ties with external stakeholders, such as local government agencies and business associations.
  • Review of the Budget and Portfolio: Create, oversee, and manage the center’s budget to make sure it complies with the business strategy. At the same time, review and manage the SME portfolio to achieve performance goals and metrics.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned or ordered by your superior.
  • Capacity to translate corporate goals into results that are both operational and acceptable
  • Develop a rapport with both current and potential clients.
  • Engaging in the Retail Banking strategy actively

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent and at least a professional banking certificate.

Experience Required:

  • At least four years’ experience in MSME business development and loan portfolio monitoring, leadership, branch operations, retail, or general banking.
  • People management, selling, business awareness in achieving business performance, performance management, networking, credit management, teamwork—building and developing high performance, and time management.
  • Strategic business awareness coupled with a clear understanding of the bank’s products, handling, and building customer relations.
  • Awareness of performance management and change management.
  • Communication and presentation skills.
  • Planning and organizing skills.
  • Interpersonal and computer skills.
  • Coaching skills.
  • Reporting and analytical skills.
