Act No. 315 R.E. 2002, an Act of Parliament, created the College of Business Education. In the areas of accounting, marketing management, metrology and standardization, procurement & supply, information and communications technology, and other business-related subjects, the College of Business Education is a public university that offers training, research, and consulting services.
The college is seeking eligible Tanzanians to apply for the following post in order to improve research, teaching and learning, and public service delivery:
Open Positions and Description
1. Office Management Secretary II (13 Posts)
- Possessing a Diploma in Secretarial Studies or NTA Level 6 in Secretarial, having completed a recognized institution’s shorthand (English) and Kiswahili courses at a pace of 100 words per minute, and having computer skills in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, the Internet, email, and Ms. Publisher.
Duties and responsibilities:
- To help with departmental meeting planning;
- To arrange travel and reservations for the immediate officer;
- To offer general departmental services;
- To record staff meeting minutes;
- To offer secretarial assistance during seminars, meetings, etc.
- To keep track of official appointments and provide prompt notification to the officer; and
- To carry out any additional relevant tasks that superiors may impose.
Salary Scale: As per Treasurer Circular
